As our brand-new Senior Buyer Supplier Administrator, you can make a real difference and help us deliver best value for money procurement solutions to the Charity.

This will be a varied role (within the small existing Procurement team) having a primary responsibility for managing the interfaces with  the Oracle ERP system and our new Due Diligence tool (One Trust) for supplier set-ups, vendor assessments and managing supplier finance information such as bank account validations,  as well as the usual procurement activities of running tenders,  supplier management relationships, including regular supplier meetings and contract management reviews.  This really is a great opportunity for a talented Buyer who thrives in a fast-paced role, where you will become a valued part of our friendly and dedicated cross-functional team.

What we are looking for:

A pro-active, self-starter who has proven experience in working with procurement processes and procedures and ideally having gained CIPS Level 4 or working towards it

With experience of delivering the set-up of tender activities, including use of any e-procurement tools, competitive quotation initiatives, outcome evaluation reports and trackers, you will come with an understanding of procurement processes and principles of contract law and contract terms.

You would be described as a real self-starter who is confident and highly motivated.  A real team player who isn’t afraid to get stuck in and do what it takes to get the job done.  With your strong interpersonal skills, you’re able to forge and nurture successful working relationships with ease. 

A working knowledge of Oracle or any similar ERP/P2P systems will certainly be advantageous and project management experience is preferable.

Due to the nature of the access to financial information the role will have, there will be a requirement to undertake and to receive a satisfactory Enhanced (with Adult barring) criminal record check.
