We are looking for a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Marie Curie Hospice, Newcastle. We operate a successful system giving you the opportunity to really get to know your patients, their families and provide exceptional quality, individualised care. The In Patient unit offers care to patients with a wide range of palliative.

In order to join our team we require you to be enthusiastic, committed and motivated and have at least one year’s HCA experience with preference given to those who hold their NVQ level 2/3 qualification and have experience caring for terminally ill patients. You will be highly motivated and energised, be an excellent communicator and work well both individually and within a team.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and forward thinking team and have access to staff development and educational opportunities including Clinical Supervision.

Although Marie Curie is not a NHS Employer, continued access to NHS pension scheme may be available to current members.
