About the role

We are looking for a new Senior Volunteering Business Partner to join our high performing volunteering department.

The purpose of this role is to ensure that volunteering is well represented, at the forefront of manager’s minds and an integral part of the organisational development and operations.

By supporting the strategic development of new and existing volunteer opportunities, you will help to give a significantly greater number of people the chance to support and engage with the charity.  This will help to deliver the strategic objective of the charity to be better known and understood, growing volunteer support and in turn, delivering more care to patients and families.

A varied and fulfilling role, the postholder will be responsible for a high quality volunteer journey which will support the development and piloting of new volunteer opportunities.  This involves the embedding and continuous review of volunteer policies & procedures, including the volunteer management workshop and the intranet.

This role will require a high level of stakeholder management and with line management responsibilities, you will also be required to support staff to recruit, induct and train their volunteers, as well as supporting them in their volunteer management practice.

For an informal chat about the role, please contact Helen Keenan, Head of Volunteering on 020 7599 4143.
