Location: Derby Office

Hours: 35 hours per week

You will work as part of the Marie Curie regional administration team in the Derby Office, responsible for the co-ordination of all administration work relating to the Central Regional Team, including working with patient referral and roster nursing systems. You will act as a link between Central Departments and the Region, providing support to all Regional staff and visiting team members.

As the first point of contact for the regional team, you will receive visitors, handle incoming calls, and deal pro-actively with enquiries and support communication within the regional office. This will include general office duties as well as full secretarial support, producing correspondence, reports, minutes, management information, presentations and other documents. You will also organise and maintain working diaries for the regional team, making appointments as necessary, as well as arranging travel and accommodation arrangements from time to time.

IT literacy, proven administration experience and a professional and sensitive telephone manner are essential as is experience of working in a customer service environment. Your ability to prioritise your work, juggling a variety of changing demands will be key. The willingness to travel throughout the region and on occasions maybe further afield is essential.
