You will join the Marie Curie End of Life Service responsible for the co-ordination of Marie Curie referrals to ensure delivery of robust packages of care for patients at the end of life. 

Reporting to the Office Manager, you will work directly with the Senior Nurses in coordinating patient referrals to the Marie Curie service. This will involve liaising directly with Marie Curie nursing staff, District Nurses and other key stakeholders as well as with patients and their families and carers. You will also support the other Co-ordinators in the delivery of standard monitoring reports and in identifying and escalating any issues.

IT literacy and a professional and sensitive telephone manner is essential as is experience of working in a customer service environment. Your ability to prioritise your work, juggling a variety of changing demands will be key. 

This role requires occasional weekend working. Full training will be provided.
