About the role

We are looking for a brilliant individual to join our Information Governance and Security Team.

This role is vital in protecting our patients, supporters, volunteers, and staff against cyber-crime, identity theft and fraud.  It is also key to maintaining public trust in Marie Curie which, in turn, enables our fundraising teams to raise money so our nurses can deliver excellent care to our patients.

As one of our dedicated team of professionals you will help us achieve this by supporting the development, implementation and monitoring of our information governance, security and privacy work program across the charity.

This role will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring our information governance, security and privacy work program, with a specific focus around electronic document and record management systems.

About You

We are looking for someone that is security and privacy conscious and vigilant by nature. You will bring a wealth of experience in and a clear understanding of information related legislation.

You will be an expert in electronic document and records management and have excellent MS Office skills, particularly in SharePoint, MS Excel & Visio. You will be skilled at writing guidance which captures your audience and in turn, share essential information effectively.

You are deadline driven and can prioritise effectively. You are someone who appreciates the finer details and your attention to detail is second to none. Engaging with stakeholders comes naturally to you, and as a talented communicator you can forge and maintain excellent working relationships with ease.

You will thrive in a dynamic environment and have the confidence and understanding to tackle day to day challenges, prioritising effectively.

If you care about people and have a passion for protecting their privacy and security, we would love to hear from you.
