We are seeking a Partnership Development Executive to provide strong insight and develop our partnerships through creating inspiring fundraising copy, providing project information and creating bespoke communications for our high value supporters. Using your strong writing and communication skills you will have a real and tangible impact across a growing and ambitious high value income team.

The role will work with and across the Philanthropy and Partnerships (P&P) income teams to help build stronger partnerships with a high value audience, and with colleagues at all levels across Marie Curie.  Working within the Insight and Partnership Development (IPD) team, which provides the insight, partnership development and rigour that guides, informs and empowers our fundraisers to build meaningful and impactful relationships with organisations and philanthropists. We work across case for support and project information, stewardship and prospect research, partnering with fundraisers across the UK to maximise income and turbocharge our fundraising.

P&P is responsible for working with individuals, charitable trusts, companies and statutory sources, runs a successful special events programme and reaches partners across the high value audience, with teams in London, the North West, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This is a crucial role which will work across two functions of IPD – case for support and stewardship using your strong writing skills and experienced communication skills to complement both functions. Through working on cases for support you will write inspiring copy for our current services and new projects that can be used across our high value audience, you will gather information from across the organisation and work with fundraisers to identify suitable projects. Equally through stewardship you will help provide compelling stewardship and supporter experience to our most loyal and generous supporters.

This is an exciting role with the opportunity to work across two growing functions within an ambitious and fast growing nationwide team.

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left. This is a truly exciting time for Marie Curie, with a new CEO and the development of a new organisational strategy – just us as we embark on a period of growth and ambition.
