£30,000-£34,000 pa depending on experience

As a Senior Nurse with Marie Curie, you will be assisting the Clinical Nurse Manager to support a team of Marie Curie staff within the Hospice at Home service working in partnership with Saint Catherine’s Hospice, Scarborough. You will also support an RN who line manages a team of Marie Curie staff working in the community across Scarborough and Ryedale.

You will be based at Saint Catherine’s Hospice and work closely with partners in the Hospice at Home service, supported by and assisting the clinical nurse manager to develop and maintain this partnership. The Marie Curie team work 1600-2300 each evening providing palliative nursing care to patients across Scarborough and Filey.   The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly with the team 2-3 evenings per week in combination with some office based 9 to 5 days to provide line management, supervision, coaching and development to the team. You should be a good communicator and have the drive to ensure high quality person centred care and excellent clinical skills are upheld by our nurses and have the ability to support the teams to facilitate this. It's all about giving the best possible quality of life. The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals' medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.

You will have RN Registration Level 1 and a good understanding and relevant experience in Palliative Care. There will be regular travel around the area, and you will need a full drivers licence with access to a vehicle and have/be prepared to obtain business insurance for the same. Marie Curie pay business mileage.
