If you want to work for a national charity that really makes a difference every day, we want to hear from you.

We are expanding our local coordination centre to facilitate the delivery of care across all our community services in the Scottish Division.

Based in an office at our hospice in Glasgow, you will part of an energetic, innovative, compassionate and friendly team. You will be supported by the senior coordinator and the coordination centre manager in coordinating our community nursing services, working closely with our clinical managers, hospice team, continuing health care teams and other health care professionals to ensure that clients referred to the service receive care that is appropriate to their needs.

This role is predominantly phone based so candidates should be happy to spend a significant amount of time making/taking calls.

IT literacy, proven administrative experience and a professional and sensitive telephone manner will be really important, experience of working in a customer service environment would be beneficial too. Your ability to prioritise your work, juggling a variety of changing demands, will be key.

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 staff and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left. Everyone knows our daffodil, but it’s our warmth, creativity and care that touch lives. Here, we take the time to really get to know the people we care for and those who love them. And we do whatever it takes to give them the final days and hours they deserve.
