We’re looking for a friendly, efficient and organised individual to join our team of 12 to help with the smooth running of our department, and national information and support service.

The Marie Curie Information and Support Service assists people living with or affected by a terminal illness by providing practical information and emotional support online, in print and over the phone.

You will have great people skills, be an excellent administrator and be interested in supporting marketing and communications activity. You will be in a diverse and busy role so you should be a natural multi-tasker. As well as helping organise and minute meetings, you’ll be assisting with monitoring and reporting on our services, supporting marketing research, and coordinating our publications and marketing materials amongst other things.

As our reporting lead you will need to be comfortable with spreadsheets, data, databases and PowerPoint. You will have good IT skills and embrace digital communications, such as Microsoft Teams or Skype. You’ll be happy to pick up the phone and be able to quickly develop good working relationships with colleagues based across different sites, soon becoming the linchpin of the team. Occasional travel to London will be essential in order to work closely with our wider team, as will attending some conferences.

About Us

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 staff and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left.

Everyone knows our daffodil, but it’s our warmth, creativity and care that touch lives. Here, we take the time to really get to know the people we care for and those who love them. And we do whatever it takes to give them the final days and hours they deserve.
