Are you an experienced Community Fundraiser with the skills to identify and win regional corporate relationships?

We would love to hear from you…

Based in our head office in Vauxhall, this is your opportunity to join a successful community fundraising team, with a special responsibility for identifying, researching, pitching and winning regional corporate opportunities across Central and South East London. We are looking for someone who is excited by the challenge, and can demonstrate experience of developing a successful pipeline. This is an exciting time to be at Marie Curie and your role will also include supporting other fundraising relationships in the community. You will be dealing with enquiries from supporters and provide excellent stewardship and support to our Fundraising Groups and volunteers to maximise income from our local and national campaigns including the Great Daffodil Appeal.

You will come to us ready to hit the ground running with insight into how local fundraising works, with good office skills. Your ability to work proactively is important to us to ensure that we grow the budget we need, to support the work of Marie Curie across Central and South East London. You must also hold a full UK driving license.

Along with your application form, tell us why you are the right person for this role by uploading a supporting statement.

Marie Curie will support your continued professional development through access to the Community Fundraising Training Pathway.

For more information about the role click on the Role Description Document where you will find a Recruitment pack outlining details of the role and how it fits in to the wider charity. For an informal conversation or query please email Claire on Claire.Morris@mariecurie.org.uk

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 staff and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left. Everyone knows our daffodil, but it’s our warmth, creativity and care that touch lives. Here, we take the time to really get to know the people we care for and those who love them. And we do whatever it takes to give them the final days and hours they deserve.
