Our Corporate Partnerships Team has enjoyed considerable success in the last three years particularly from charity of the year partnerships, winning and delivering them to a very high standard and we are looking for an ambitious, forward thinking and supportive individual to join our team in this exciting new role, on a fixed term basis.

You will be responsible for securing new, high value and complex corporate partnerships in a wide range of sectors, across the UK as well as proposing new and innovative fundraising initiatives to organisations wishing to partner with Marie Curie.  You will be an influencer amongst key decision makers and a confident leader who can inspire and motivate team members in the delivery of pitches and proposals

Your strengths will include strategic planning and developing corporate partnerships whilst creating strong relationships with stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation to support and grow our fundraising income. You will require strong internal and external relationship building skills whilst having the ability to operate in uncertainty, as a passionate advocate for Marie Curie.

The Senior Corporate Development Manager will manage leads and complete formal application processes for high value partnership opportunities, including written proposals, formal presentations and pitches to prospective partners. You will be motivated, enthusiastic and tenacious, and possess the ability to pre-empt team needs and potential challenges, as well as the confidence and experience to use your initiative and creativity to solve problems.

This role will involve some travel across the UK and you will be required to work occasional anti-social hours to satisfy business needs.

Confidence, professionalism and a passion for what we do is key, so if you think you fit the bill, we’d love to hear from you!
