As a Registered Nurse with Marie Curie, you’ll be there for people in their time of greatest need.  We provide free specialist care and support to patients with terminal illnesses, whilst offering vital emotional support for their families. It’s all about giving them the best possible quality of life.  The support we offer is tailored to meet individuals’ medical, social, spiritual and emotional needs.

As a Marie Curie Nurse, you will work alongside the Senior Nurse and Nursing Service Facilitator, assisting and coordinating the management and delivery of the service.  You will work collaboratively with District Nursing Teams, the NHS out-of-hours Service, other Marie Curie Nurses and other palliative care service providers, to provide a proactive approach to delivering multi-visit patient care in the Cardiff and Vale area, to ensure an integrated and co-ordinated service.

We are looking for experienced Registered Nurses who will be responsible for the coordination of a local community nursing service, caring for patients with a terminal illness. As a Registered Nurse within the Cardiff and Vale team, the successful candidate will support and line manage a group of Health Care Assistants.

Due to the nature of the role, access to a car, willingness to travel, and access to a computer and the Internet are essential.
