This role has specific responsibility for bringing together data, intelligence and insights from Marie Curie’s Caring Services and other service delivery teams from across the UK; to package existing service models into compelling 6 and 7 figure fundraising propositions that drive income growth.

This is a vital role, being the pivotal link between Marie Curie’s Strategy & Improvement Team, who are responsible for the development, delivery and ongoing review of the organisational strategy, the Caring Services Team who are responsible for the delivery of Marie Curie’s existing services, and Philanthropy & Partnerships, who are responsible for the securing and stewarding of high value partnerships.

The role will work closely with their Caring Services colleagues, as well as the Fundraising & Caring Services Engagement Team, based out of Marie Curie’s nine hospices, to establish potential funding opportunities and gather the operational detail which to then work with P&P fundraising colleagues to translated into winning proposals.

You will have both excellent stakeholder management skills as well as project management experience, ideally in a health charity context.

The role will ensure that ambitious project funding opportunities are developed in alignment with Marie Curie’s existing services.

You will be visionary in your thinking, and able to see how current areas of our work could be scalable and impactful and in line with Marie Curie’s purpose and strategy.
