Marie Curie is the largest charitable funder of end of life care in the UK. With an ambitious five-year strategic plan, it is an exciting time to join Marie Curie as we aim to deliver more for people living with terminal illness across the UK.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative fundraiser to join our Mass Participation Fundraising department. The post holder will work predominantly on Marie Curie’s Third-Party Events portfolio, supporting 2,500 runners, 750 cyclists, 500 swimmers, 150 triathletes and 250 walkers to achieve their goals supporting Marie Curie.

In addition to possessing superb organisation, planning, and influencing skills, you will need a good eye for detail enabling you to create accurate reports, monitor expenditure and input to product evaluations.

As one of the key points of contact on Third Party Events activity across the charity, you will have an open and participative working style, and be able to prioritise your workload to ensure deadlines are achieved.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to make the step up from a Fundraising Officer and who is happy to juggle a diverse and often fast paced workload.

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 staff and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left. Everyone knows our daffodil, but it’s our warmth, creativity and care that touch lives. Here, we take the time to really get to know the people we care for and those who love them. And we do whatever it takes to give them the final days and hours they deserve.
