We’re looking for an enthusiastic fundraising events manager to join our busy running and challenge events team for a few months

You’ll play a key role in supporting over 4,000 fundraisers across our diverse portfolio of events, including marathons, cycles and walks, enabling them to achieve their goals and fundraise for Marie Curie.

You’ll be responsible for all aspects of a wide programme of events, from marketing, development, event delivery and stewarding supporter journeys, always keeping our supporters at the heart of everything we do.

This is a fantastic opportunity to project manage running, cycling and challenge events using your strong organisational skills. You’ll enjoy creating innovative marketing and stewardship plans. You’ll have demonstrable experience of working within events fundraising, and be able to identify the best opportunities to enhance Marie Curie supporters’ event experience and grow income across the portfolio.

If this sounds like the role for you, we’d love to hear from you!

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 staff and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left. Everyone knows our daffodil, but it’s our warmth, creativity and care that touch lives. Here, we take the time to really get to know the people we care for and those who love them. And we do whatever it takes to give them the final days and hours they deserve.

This role may close early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
