Administrative Support, Helper

Staying organised with the admin is crucial to the smooth running of a large charity like Marie Curie. And this is where you come in!

Join us as an Administrative Assistant and you will get involved at the heart of the Marie Curie Helper Service. The Marie Curie Helper service is provided by specially trained volunteers who offer one-to-one support to a terminally ill person. For up to three hours each week, people with a serious illness and their families can rely on the support of a dedicated Helper volunteer who will visit them in their home. As an Admin Assistant Volunteer you will play a key role in supporting the service with a range of admin tasks, keeping the day-to-day work in the office running smoothly.

A key part of your role will involve updating computer records, mailing, filing and compiling inventories. You may also spend time scanning documents and helping with the photocopying. You will also help out with any other ad hoc admin tasks that might pop up.

This is a great opportunity if you fancy a role that will allow you to learn and develop some new skills. You might learn something new and gain some experience working in an office, all while helping us to keep on top of the all-important admin for our Helper Service.

This is an unpaid role.
