The Direct Giving team at Marie Curie are looking for an Individual Giving Fundraiser leading on Prize-Led Fundraising. This position would be an integral member of the Gaming team nestled within Direct Giving, in the wider Fundraising and Engagement Directorate at Marie Curie.

The role of Individual Giving Fundraiser will work to deliver the acquisition, development, and retention of new supporters to the charity’s prize led products, with specific responsibility for managing the Marie Curie Weekly Lottery. This will include acquisition campaigns across a range of channels (face to face, telemarketing, digital and direct mail) and overseeing the ongoing retention journey with the support of the Team Assistant. The role will work with the Team Manager to develop the long-term strategy for the Weekly Lottery as well as working collaboratively with other team members on related prize-led fundraising products. We have exciting growth plans in the prize-led area, so it’s an excellent time to join the team and be instrumental in driving those plans forward.

This role is an excellent step for an individual, who is looking to build on their fundraising experience, hone their skills in campaign management and develop their skill set in strategy, planning and product management. You may have had some experience in the charity sector or have worked previously in a marketing role. More importantly than that, you are a motivated problem solver, an excellent communicator, looking to make a difference, eager to grow and expand your knowledge of prize led fundraising.

If this sounds like the role for you, please follow the link below to the full job description and application. We look forward to hearing from you by 19 May 2019.

Every day of your life matters – from the first to the last. When you work for Marie Curie, you understand that better than ever. We’re a passionate, committed and diverse team of more than 4,400 staff and 12,000 volunteers, here for people living with any terminal illness, and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support, to help them get the most from the time they have left. Everyone knows our daffodil, but it’s our warmth, creativity and care that touch lives. Here, we take the time to really get to know the people we care for and those who love them. And we do whatever it takes to give them the final days and hours they deserve.

This role may close early if a sufficient number of applications are received.
