Office Administrator – Bradford Hospice

We are currently looking for an experienced office administrator who has worked in a similar role, ideally within a healthcare setting, to join our team.  The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the healthcare sector and is used to handling highly sensitive information.

You must be well organised, flexible, pro- active, a good team player, and a good communicator, with the ability to work on their own initiative. This is a busy role so the successful candidate must be able to manage their time effectively.

The role covers a range of duties including providing administrative support to the various departments within the hospice with the preparation of essential documents, working with excel spread sheets, typing letters, working on systmone (patient records), and updating health and safety records, whilst assisting in other areas across the hospice when required.  This role will be part of the administrative team and will cover reception adhoc basis, along with the team. The post holder will come into contact with hospice patients and their families therefore, must be comfortable working in this setting and be confident when liaising with other healthcare professionals and organisations.

The right candidate will be able to deliver high quality working in a sometimes pressurised environment, accuracy is a must and attention to detail is paramount. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft office is essential.
