Hours: 35 hours per week 7 days with shift works which may include Saturday & Sunday.

The Marie Curie Hospice provides support for patients and their loved ones with high-quality care in a comfortable environment in Hampstead.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will assist in the daily provision of all catering services at the Hospice, working to ensure that we maintain our level (5) food hygiene rating, and our commitment to providing consistently high-quality food service to our patients, visitors, staff and volunteers.

You will be a vital member of the catering team, contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen and you must be able to undertake general kitchen duties and food preparation and cook simple meals under the direction of the Head Chef. You will need to be flexible, well presented and highly organized.

Kitchen experience is essential, together with excellent communication and customer service skills and a basic food hygiene qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.

Previous experience working in a similar environment is desirable

An Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.
