Marie Curie is here for people living with any terminal illness and their families. We offer expert care, guidance and support to help patients get the most from the time they have left.

Our Rapid Response Service, in partnership with Lincolnshire CCGS, delivers rapid and flexible out of hours nursing care and support for terminally ill patients and their carers.

Reporting to a Clinical Nurse Manager and working as part of a team, you will receive patient referrals by telephone and it’s your role to promptly arrange and dispatch clinical teams to meet the needs of the patients in the community.

IT literacy and a professional and sensitive telephone manner are essential, as is the ability to prioritise your work, juggling a variety of changing demands, whilst speedily arranging the right care.

This role requires shift working from 3.15pm – 10.30pm, 10.30pm to 8am and in addition, at weekends and Bank Holidays 8am – 3.15pm, on a rota across 7 days. The post is based at the Marie Curie Rapid response Office within the Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. Parking is paid for by MC.

Full training will be provided and no clinical knowledge is required.

For an informal discussion about the role, please call Jayne Unwin on 07515 133830.
